The storage capacity is customizable: it ranges from a base unit of 6.4 kWh up to 64 kWh (two base units and eight satellite batteries).The configuration with the largest size – explains the startup – can store enough energy to power the needs of an entire family for a week or more.“At over 228 Wh/kg, our semi-solid-state batteries have up to 42% more energy per pound than lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries,” Zendure writes on its website.“And with our battery management software, battery life can exceed 10 years.”
As the first (and currently only) system capable of providing dual 120V/240V voltage from a single base unit, the new portable power station can simultaneously charge small and large appliances, including refrigerators, heating systems and cooling and ovens and electric.And in the event of a sudden blackout, SuperBase V's backup power activates instantly, preventing damage or disruption to sensitive equipment.
The generator can be easily integrated into pre-existing photovoltaic systems to recharge with solar energy and can work with Amazon Alexa and Google Home systems for easier voice control.“By combining SuperBase V with satellite batteries, home automation solutions, solar panels and the ZEN+ intelligent cloud platform,” we read in a press release, “the company offers a complete energy storage system that represents an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional gas generators” .
